Masterminds
A Mastermind Group is a kind of brain trust – the difference is that it’s not your brain trust – it’s everyone’s in the group. I had never been in one, but I’ve heard very great things about them. And because I have a lot of different interests, I’ve joined two mastermind groups and I’ll let you know about them –
The first has to do with my fundamental commitments - I have an “impossible promise” for the world: that by 2030 we're all inspired and empowered to be fulfilled while living in harmony with Earth. This promise underlies everything I do – my coaching, my writing, the groups I belong to, how I am with my family – everything.
One of the necessary steps I feel is necessary to have others act consistent with that promise is expanding my site readership to well over 10,000 subscribers… Not only will this support my commitment, it will also support your extraordinary projects and promises..
I also have devised a product that will make a huge difference in the world – an inexpensive, environmentally friendly cleaning product. I’ve joined a separate Mastermind Group of entrepreneurs, equally committed to moving their new business ideas forward.
As a coach, I know how coaching adds to your personal effectiveness. A Mastermind group is a way of lessening the intensity of the coaching while increasing its sources. Of course, I’m being coached as well. This is a small fraction of my ‘working time’ and it will sky rocket my results.
Here’s a way to skyrocket yours:
My coaching practice has become more accessible and more affordable.
I invite you to participate in the second free "Success Principles" workshop. This has proven to be an exceptional introduction to the benefits of coaching as well as a valuable refresher course if you are already familiar with coaching.
The Feedback on The Success Principles teleseminar, designed by Jack Canfield, has been extraordinary! This is typical:
I love being part of your Success Principles group.. It’s a novel way to stay plugged in.. I’ve done a lot of work …and – your TeleClass is like “Accent” - It’s ‘waking up’ my inner compass, and reminding me of just who I am, for myself, my family and for the world. Accepting anything less is not acceptable. Being part of your class is great – it’s energizing and is making a big difference in what’s going on between my ears on a daily basis. Thanks for ‘re-lighting my fire’ Michael!

Useful Quotations
All advancement and progress come through ideas, not through physical force or mechanical force. Emerson
An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea
Buddha
The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another
Marva Collins
Money never starts an idea. It is always the idea that starts the money
Owen Laughlin
There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. We keep on turning and making new combinations indefinitely; but they are the same old pieces of colored glass that have been in use through all the ages
Mark Twain

F.M.eral Art
Once I made a snowflake,
a computer flake,
ever-changing, no two alike;
hypnotic, techno‑fantasy
in six‑sided, hand‑crafted,
polychromatic symmetry.
And I loved each random image
as my own, my own creation
It played alone at night in a dark room
flashing on the 44th floor for no one to see
from one AM to three,
except me and Security
Maybe someone else, another me
in a distant skyscraper working late
saw ephemeral beauty
that disappeared behind a cloud,
and wondered what and where and how
It's gone now.
As all art must go somehow,
some slow, some taken from the screen;
some turned upside down and shaken;
some burned, some buried, some erased,
some replaced,
some returned to attics,
lost to fanatics,
wasted by politics,
all subject to the blink of time.
As are we.
