Learning

One of the things that’s been exciting to me about my new website is that I’m continually learning - I wrote a new blog yesterday – didn’t tell you - I’ll be doing that.

I also started a new blog for the reading room side:

http://michaelscreations.wordpress.com/

There will eventually be different people drawn to the Reading Room than to here. I’m starting that blog today – have no idea what I’ll write – that makes it more fun.

Unfortunately, this means you have to opt-in to both to receive both —Though lengthy, I’m going to affix the first “Writing for the Reading – Room” one to the bottom of this so you can get a sense of my dual personalities.

I realized that I had omitted my traditional coaching from my services. Because I LOVE coaching.

My intention is that this site will always be changing. You’ll read about a new program later. My long term plans are to offer a free teleclass each month as well as a fee based class (for non-clients) and record it and offer it for sale. Over a longer period, these will be tele-video classes

It’s ironic that after 45 years in computers, I’m learning all over again. The languages I learned aren’t even taught in most places…Ironic and exciting. The more I learn, the younger I get.

Writing for the Reading - Room

I’ve noticed I think of myself differently on this side of my site.

I am a stand for the inter-connectedness of life. So, for me, we are all creative.

I don’t think of myself as having any special talent for creativity – There’s always someone who does what I do and does it better. I’m more like a maple tree – If you drill a spigot into my mind, stuff will flow out – though in my case it’s only sometimes sappy and always diverse.

This site currently has these musings and many of my books. Here are some of the things I have to figure out good ways to make available and share. Some of them I can’t do by myself and I’m looking for some joint venture partners (JVs).

I have many drawings, including a few very realistic ones. These I’ll handle.

(JV1) I have this wonderful maze-ish book, and it needs extensive editing and I have to figure out how to get it on line.

(JV2) I have children’s stories that need to be illustrated

(JV3) I’ve designed a production management system and need a skilled hacker-level programmer to make it real.

(JV4) And to go far a field—If you can handle the operation, I have a design for an environmentally safe and yet really inexpensive multi-purpose household cleanser.

On the other side of my site, you’ll see me as The Contribution Coach and I’m going to start a special coaching course on Contributing Through Creativity – This can be one on one coaching or it can be a scheduled teleclass series (either $125/session to $15/session.).

So - Please send me what you’d like dealt with in such a course. The more you talk, the more I listen.

Stream of Life

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.
